Related to a lot of this Leila, especially the different audiences we have and how that also leads to a kind of procrastination. I’m excited for the podcast.

Yes me too! There’s so much to say about our online spaces and the way show up (and hesitate! ) - it was so lovely to meet you in the real life back in Sept by the way, although hasn’t time actually flown by?

Always fascinating ideas. I'm excited for your podcast! I can also relate to these different roles and the spaces we inhabit - do we code switch or allow one identity to persist?

Thanks Kathleen, I think intersectional theory is helpful to think about when we consider the multiple group identities we have and how these shape our experiences. We all have multiple identities but how these show up in our decision making and behaviour might depend on how advantageous our memberships of different groups are. Especially as to how we display /signal them to others. It might also depend on how harmonious those identities are with each other - real or perceived.

I think, but I’ll have to check, that the research points to greater well being the more important identities we have, which would contribute to our sense of belonging.
